Details: Cardno ATC is a national engineering/consulting firm that specializes in environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, and construction materials testing and inspection service. Cardno ATC is recognized as one of the nation's leading practitioners of Environmental Consulting, Engineering and Testing. Cardno ATC is seeking a Full time CMT Technician to work in our Houston, TX, office. Essential job functions include, but are not limited to: >Perform test inspections according to ASTM, ACIO and applicable industry standards, including routing tasks on construction projects with moderate supervision. >Common test examples include: Slump and air testing of concrete and compaction testing for soils. >Accurately prepare field reports by performing multiple mathematical calculations based on testing results. >Recording and communicating to the project supervisor and client any deviations from the specifications. >Finalizing all field reports and trip tickets before leaving the job site. >Maintaining daily contact with the project supervisor regarding project status, delays, concerns and coordination of work schedule.
